College Lifestyles Fall 2011 Interns

Sana Ashraf is a junior Communications major at the University of Michigan. She loves writing about everything, but she is a slave to fashion. She works on the literature, public relations, and fashion teams for SHEI magazine. From fashion mags to her own fashion blog, you can always find her styling her own closet or others, because bringing fashion off the pages is her second love to writing (when she isn’t busy spending time with friends and family of course!).

Martha-Raye Adjei is an Environmental Studies Major at the University of Delaware. She aspires to be a journalist and a sustainable apparel design consultant. She is also a student-athlete on the Women’s Rowing Team.

Katie Butler is a junior at Purdue University majoring in Public Relations & Rhetorical Advocacy and a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta. She has obsessions with the color pink, TOMS shoes, and Vera Bradley.

Nicole Smith is sophomore at Marist College with a major in Communications and a Concentration in Journalism and PR. I love running and being involved in sports and activities, especially my sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma and Marist Ambassadors.

Christina Hedges is a sophomore at Hofstra University majoring in Public Relations with minors in Marketing and French. She loves fashion, weddings, traveling, modeling, dancing, and going to college sporting events.

Jennifer Valez is junior at Drake University majoring in Public Relations and an extremely proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma! I love watching movies, reality tv, the color purple, trying new food, and spending time with my lovely friends and family.

Michele Drago is a senior Communications major at Misericordia University. When she’s not tweeting and writing a fashion column for her university’s newspaper, she’s usually shopping for chic ballet flats, chatting with her best friends, or ordering Salted Caramel Hot Chocolates from Starbucks.

Chelsea Hay is a junior at the University of North Dakota majoring in Communications. She is a proud sister of Alpha Chi Omega, and loves hanging out with friends, reading, laughing, and going to hockey games!

Ariana Romero is a magazine journalism major at Syracuse University. She loves Alpha Gamma Delta, dancing, all things fashion or pop culture and telling stories!

Jessica Fecteau is a sophomore Journalism major at Central Michigan University. She loves reading the latest issue of Glamour magazine, going shopping with Starbucks in hand and baking for her friends and family.

Sharon Tendler is a junior at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is majoring in business marketing and minoring in graphic design. Sharon is a proud sister of Sigma Sigma Sigma. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family, scrapbooking, texting, and watching movies!

Lauren Townsend is a college junior majoring in Communications. I’m a proud member of Phi Mu. I love fashion, indie music, health & fitness and going out with my friends.

Jane Kate Joseph is a shopaholic from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and student at Duquesne University. A proud sister of Alpha Sigma Tau, when she is not with her older brothers, best friend or sorority sisters she is looking for the latest event and trends.

Tiana Blue is a print journalism major at Penn State. This sophomore is an avid blogger that loves to write, draw, roam the streets of Manhattan, and channel her inner chef by watching Food Network re-runs.

Rachel Neubauer am a junior at the University of Alabama majoring in public relations and I am a proud sister of Alpha Delta Pi. I love spending time with my sorority sisters, reading Marie Claire, working out and watching E News.

Meaghan O’Connor is a sophomore at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor studying Communications and International Relations and a proud sister of Alpha Chi Omega. When she isn’t indulging in one of her favorite magazines or writing her next online article, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, catching up on her reality television favorites or enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book at Starbucks.

Ellen Ratliff is a junior at Michigan State University majoring in Dietetics with a specialization in Health Promotions. She loves working up a sweat, whether it’s dancing with her friends or training for a race, and showing the world that a vegan diet can be delicious.

Emily Longeretta is a double major in creative writing and journalism at SUNY Oswego, a snowy town in Upstate NY. When she’s not blogging, she is keeping up with her passions for fashion, entertainment, the NY Giants, and reality TV.

Holly Bokar is a senior Political Science and Environmental Science major at Miami University and member of Kappa Delta sorority. Her favorite things include live music, a huge plate of nachos, and spending time with her friends and tremendous family.

Nicole Nunes is a Journalism major and proud sister of Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Kansas who absolutely loves traveling to different countries, being with her wonderful friends/family, playing tennis, eating delicious food, looking at Enrique Iglesias, and watching TLC. (She am obsessed with Say Yes the The Dress!)

Monica Perez is  a senior at the University of Puerto Rico majoring in Communications Public Relations and Advertising. She loves chocolate, animals, traveling, art, books, fashion and my family.

Megan Stein is a junior at Drake University and double majoring in Magazines and Creative Advertising. She loves to have movie nights with my KKG sisters and meeting new people every day on her dynamic college campus.

Kathryn Oliva is a junior at the University of Oregon majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Art History. She loves her family, fashion, sunny days (they are rare in Oregon), and old movies.

Amber Ferguson is a sophomore at Prince George’s Community College studying English with a concentration in Journalism and Public Relations. She’s the first girl out on the dance floor, is obsessed with reality TV, and loves getting stamps on her passport when she travels to new places.

Brooke Mendoff is a sophomore at Duquesne University studying Integrated Marketing Communication and is a proud sister of Alpha Sigma Tau. She is OBSESSED with: orange soda, the Washington Capitals, Victoria’s Secret, Mexican food, her friends and family and the color purple.

Katie Maguire is a junior at Boston University, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in history. She is sisterhood chair of Kappa Delta and loves baking, working out and laughing with her friends!

Sasha Graffagna is a junior Journalism and Comparative Literature major at New York University. A proud sister of Theta Phi Beta, she talks fast, travels a lot, and is obsessed with sugar.

Bethany Cook is a senior journalism major at Ohio University with a minor in business.  Always up for something new, she adores cooking, singing in the shower, being an aunt, laughing, dancing and reading Harry Potter!

Anna Romance is a junior at Duquesne University studying International Relations and Internal Marketing Communications. She loves traveling, friends, family, Alpha Sigma Tau, Starbucks and snowboarding!

Monica Maldonado is a journalism and fashion merchandising student at the University of North Texas, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi.  When she’s not running around campus trying to find her next story, you can find her attached to her laptop, feeding her addiction to pop culture and fashion.

Lindsay Dressen is a junior magazine journalism major at Drake University minoring in sociology. She is a movie buff that loves to be with her friends and family, and enjoys working out, ethnic food and indie music!

Katie Gillman is a recent graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Journalism and Public Relations and is a sister of Alpha Sigma Tau. She prides herself on being a fashionista and usually spends her time reading all the latest fashion magazines and books.

Maddie Gorman is a Junior at the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, majoring in Advertising, and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I have been a dancer since the age of three, I love reading British ELLE and Vogue, and have a passion for travel!

Alli Pearson is a Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics junior at Michigan State University.  When she isn’t spending time with friends and family or on the sidelines of an MSU football game, she can always be found playing with her dogs!

Maggie Young is a sophomore at the University of Kansas majoring in Journalism News and Information and is a member of Delta Delta Delta. Known as a health nut, she loves running, her awesome family and friends, the outdoors, carrot cake, and livin’ it up!

Stephanie Coppola is studying print journalism and sports studies at Quinnipiac University and she is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta.

Debra Schreiber is a returning CL intern from summer 2011. She is a senior at Duquesne University, studying Journalism and Spanish. When she’s not studying, you can usually find her at the gym, reading or catching up on her favorite shows. Meet our Spring 2011 Interns.
