For an easy and classy DIY project with great results, try this wreath made out of book pages, inspired by Flower Patch Farmgirl. Use this wreath to brighten up your front door, make a romantic centerpiece on a table, or give to your favorite bookworm!

Materials:

An old book with thick pages (I got mine at Goodwill for $1.50)

Scissors

A Styrofoam wreath

Loaded hot glue gun

A heart-shaped paper punch (you can also cut out the hearts by hand, but this will take a lot more time)

Red or pink ribbon

Steps

1. Cut enough strips of the book pages to wrap around the wreath completely.

2. Wrap the strips around the wreath, slightly overlapping. Fasten with hot glue in the back of the wreath.

3. Use the paper punch to punch hearts out of the book pages. The book I used had some black-and-white illustrations in it, which made really pretty hearts and added dimension to the wreath.

4. Lightly fold hearts in half to create a 3-D effect.

5. Glue the hearts to the wreath in different directions to get that shabby-chic look.

6. Cut a foot of ribbon and tie in a tight bow.

7. Glue the ends of the ribbon to the back of the wreath. Allow glue to dry and hang.

You can also make this wreath with hearts cut out of red or pink paper, magazine pages or newspaper. For more V-Day DIY ideas, try Debra’s dorm décor projects and be sure to check out CL’s V-Day Challenge!

Remember the moment during a school dance when everyone ‘Oooooed’ and ‘Ahhed’ for the SPECIAL song? The song where you longed to be asked, ‘Would you like to dance?‘

The ‘ooo’ and ‘ahh’ songs of my dances were:

The Dance by Garth Brooks. How could you not love this country classic?

Love of a Lifetime by Firehouse . Yes, I was raised in the final days of the hair bands. The cheesier the ballad, the better.

End of the Road by Boys to Men. The more emotional, the better!

Along with our favorite slow songs, join us on twitter as the College Lifestyles team tweets pics of their past school dance photos. #CLlove

Tell us….

Trying to find a college that suits you is like playing an intense game of chess: if you make the wrong move under pressure, you’ll be stuck with your decision. Sure, transferring out of one college to the next may be as simple as filling out some paperwork, but who wants to endure the grueling application process more than necessary? You’ll have better chances of getting it right the first time around with the following tips.

onedayonejob.com

Discover Your Interests

Many high school students are unsure of what they want to study in college–don’t worry, you’re not alone. Even those who think they have it all figured out may have a change of heart after a college semester or so. What do you enjoy doing or learning about? Let’s say you love all things health and fitness. You might want to consider majoring in Nutrition or Kinesiology. And it’s ok if you’re unable to come up with anything–you have lots of time until you have to declare a major and you can enter college as an “Undecided” student.

Having a general idea of your interests can help you narrow down your list to schools that specialize in a specific field. Some schools are know for their engineering (Penn State), others for their art and design programs (Fashion Institute of Technology).

Decide What You Want

Make a detailed list of what you expect from your ideal college. You’ll also want to jot down decision-making deal breakers. Looking to attend an Ivy League school? How much tuition are you not willing to pay for? Thinking about going greek? Ask yourself these questions and more.

art.com

Talk To Co-eds And Grads

No one knows college better than someone who’s currently enrolled or has graduated. Ask these people questions about their experience: what they liked and didn’t like about their campus or even opportunities made available to them by going to their chosen college. Get acquainted with college life before setting foot on campus grounds!

Visit Campuses

Being apart of a campus tour is the best way to get a feel for who you can expect to be surrounded by, what type of environment you’ll have to live in and the kind of personalities you’ll be faced with (for example, certain areas of the country have friendlier citizens than others!). Don’t have the funds (or motivation) to visit a campus that’s faraway? Virtual campus tours are available on school websites.

laslatinitas.com

Stop by collegeboard.com and thebostonchannel.com for more college-search advice!

Rosewood High is hosting a “Truth Up Day” event which involves the student body splitting up into groups to be open and honest about the happenings in their lives. As suspected, the overnight event doesn’t go quite as planned, and instead of truth we are treated to a heaping amount of blackmail, assault, devious plans, and a skeleton comes dancing out of its closet.

The claim ticket found in Allison’s copy of Lolita resulted in nothing but a rain coat. However, the girls find a number in one of the pockets, and decide to call it to see if they can get some answers on Allison’s alter ego Vivian. The first time Aria calls she speaks to a woman who tells her to stop calling because no one there knows Vivian, but when the number calls back a bit later, Emily speaks to a man asking if she would like to meet because he has a few questions of his own regarding Vivian. There’s no telling where this mystery caller will lead the liars.

After last week’s disastrous turn of events for Hanna involving a nude picture of Kate being sent all over school, the girls and their mothers have a meeting with Principal Tamberelli to discuss Hanna’s punishment. Isabelle is out for blood because of the injustice done to her daughter, and the former and current Mrs. Marin don’t see eye to eye in this situation. Kate plays the victim well. In her “truth” group she says she wishes she was at her old school where people are nice, and her tirade about students being involved in their tormentor’s punishment prompts our favorite blue-eyed creeper, Noel Kahn, to call out girls’ nastiness when it comes to arguments and disagreements. Caleb is still on the war path and has a few public words with Jenna, who he thinks is the one responsible for blackmailing and tormenting Hanna. Caleb clearly isn’t afraid of the wrath of Jenna Marshall, but he may be straying into uncharted territory because A now has their hands on his laptop filled with all the files he’s encoded from A’s phone.

The whole episode Hanna is defeated and sees no possible way to get out of this reputation she now has, when a saving grace comes in the form of a quite pronounced birth mark. It turns out Kate has a birth mark on her side, but in the picture her body is blemish free. After Hanna confronts her stepsister in the girls’ bathroom, Kate admits she sent those pictures around the school to make Hanna look bad, and to stop Spencer from sending the pictures of her ugly duckling days. Thanks to Aria and her phone, the tape recorded conversation gets Hanna out of hot water, and dumps Kate right in.

Hanna isn’t the only one who had a run in with Noel. Aria is still reeling from the bruise she saw on Holden’s body on their night out, but he’s still dodging her questions. The situation worsens when a bag of what appears to be pills spills out of Holden’s bag. This prompts Aria to call off their arrangement, and she proceeds to give him the cold shoulder. After Hanna discovers Kate was behind the photo incident, Aria is sent to call off Caleb from badgering Jenna, and she stumbles upon Noel and Jenna in a darkened room going over written confessions with a black light. One of the messages was particularly interesting. Apparently someone in the “truth” group involving Aria, Caleb, and Jenna knows “who killed Allison DiLaurentis.” The two succeed in planting fear in Aria, but she continues trying to find Caleb on the roof of the school. Caleb of course isn’t there, but Noel is. He ends up attacking Aria as she tries to climb up a ladder, but Holden is there to save the day with an impressive roundhouse kick to Noel’s side.

Spencer’s night was particularly eventful as she discovers a huge skeleton hiding in the Hastings patriarch’s closet. Jason is back in town, and can we just take a moment to admire Drew Van Acker’s beauty? Okay moment’s over. So, Jason is back in Rosewood with one goal in mind: talk to Peter Hastings. At first Spencer doesn’t know why Jason is so persistent to talk to her father, but after she overhears a conversation between her mother and the older DiLaurentis sibling, she puts two and two together. Spencer flashes back to a conversation with Allison, where the girls overhear Spencer’s parents fighting about Jason kissing Melissa. Mr. Hastings is livid at the situation, and Spencer thinks he’s making a big deal out of nothing. However, Allison says one thing that Spencer didn’t understand then, but definitely understands now. “Let’s just say it may be a match frowned upon by the gods.” Peter is Jason’s father. Many Pretty Little Liars fans called this revelation last season, and the truth is finally out.

Emily is on her own mission to get back on the swim team. She continuously butts heads with Principal Tamberelli, who won’t allow Emily’s past to tarnish the image of the Sharks. After Mona witnesses a particularly tense exchange between the two, she offers to help Emily out by resorting to blackmail. Mona spent all her freshman year working in the vice principal’s office, and the girl knows the ins and outs of the school computers. She also knows the principal cut troublesome football players a lot of slack to keep them on the team. The girls break in to the principal’s office, Mona finds information confirming the principal took a bribe, and just like that Emily is back on the team. The jury’s still out on whether Mona is involved in A’s dastardly plans, but we weren’t let in on the conversation Mona had with Principal Tamberelli that resulted in Emily’s reinstatement, so it could be too good to be true.

Kate didn’t look too pleased at being revealed. What do you think her next plot to destroy Hanna’s life is going to be? Now that the cat’s out of the bag involving Jason’s paternity, what do you think this means for the Hastings clan? Will Spencer cross Jason off her suspects list, and what is Allison’s connection to all this? What do you think Vivian’s acquaintance will offer in terms of information?

Tell me your theories in the comment section, and tune in next week for an all new episode of Pretty Little Liars.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Last week on Gossip Girl, we saw the royal runaway have to resort to her backup plan, which happened to be have curly hair, be an author, reside in Brooklyn, and be one of the many people she used to hate–Dan Humphrey. “The Backup Dan” picked up right where last week’s exciting episode left off, with everyone searching for the missing bride and the newly revealed Gossip Girl finding new schemes to bring up the websites sinking views. Maybe last week’s surprising comeback was too much of a turn over to follow through with a strong 101st episode, because this week’s episode seemed really disconnected and almost a waste of an hour. Dan tries to rescue Blair from the horrible accented Grimaldis, meanwhile Serena and Chuck are frantically searching for her too. Of course Dan doesn’t think to tell Serena that he is with her, because he wants to be the only knight in shining armor for Blair (who is one confused girl). Lastly, surprise, surprise Georgina actually isn’t Gossip Girl but is just a wannabe. The episode sadly ends with Blair smiling for the paparazzi with Louis; apparently being in a fake marriage is better than buying your way out of one. Making Blair into a hot commodity (literally) is turning me and many other viewers off. Does anyone else agree that the whole “who is Blair going to end with” storyline needs to come to an end? What ever happened to Diana? What’s going to happen with Lola? Dan needs to find a girl outside of the infamous “Inside.” Chuck and Blair just need to be together, and the evil Grimaldis need to take the next flight to Monaco. They are #NotWanted.

To mix things up a bit, I thought it would be fun to recap the uneventful episode with a Backup Dan Twitterfeed! #CheckItOut #Tweethearts

Looks like Serena and her real cousin are getting in some bonding time. #ProjectFindTheRunawayBride

Prince Louis may not have been left at the altar, but the honeymoon seems to be over before it began. #GG

Looks like everyone wants to know where the royal bride ran to, but will they find her in time? #AllOverTheMap

Researching divorce laws? #FirstSign to not get married. Come on Blair! For a student accepted into Colombia, you sure need to think deeper. #Duh

Looks like Lonely Boy is fleeing Princess B to Santo Domingo. #HelloFreedom?

Why wouldn’t Princess B be smart enough to get out of her royal dress?! #CallHerASoreThumb

“They do give credit to people from Brooklyn, right?” Spoken like a true royal. Or at least a Manhattan one. #QueenBsBack

You can run and you can hide but Princess B beware, Gossip Girl has eyes everywhere! #OrDoesShe?

Only Blair would use a tabloid to prove her identity. #PrincessProblems

Photo Credit: Giovanni Rufino/The CW 2011 The CW Network

Dorota to the rescue. #WhatsNew

Looks like Serena’s prince charming is acting as someone else’s #Shady Who else is already over #Dair? S is about to be.

Chuck is beginning to realize it’s over? #NOOOOOOOOOO GG writers need to stop prolonging the inevitable. #FrusturatedFan

Apparently, Lily and Rufus have the #MovesLikeJagger. Too bad they’re not #BringingSexyBack or anything for that matter. #UselessCharacters

If Blair decides to use her birth right of making a choice, a decision of her own, that would mean her family would have to pay dowry to the Grimaldis. Nice touch GG writers. First, Chuck and a hotel. Now either Blair’s hand in marriage for a year or the entire Waldorf business. Apparently Blair is #OneHotCommodity…too bad that’s all she is made out to be. #WomenAreNotProperty

Looks like even Nate Archibald can chill out with a cool beer…or not #TroubleInParadise

Nothing mixes Blue and Bougie like a classic cool beer, right? #WrongAgain For those of you hoping for a Lola lala’s Nate, you’re going to have to wait. #TroubleIntheArch

Getting her the help she needs equates locking a girl into tall towers. #DorotaSpeaksTruth At least someone else can sense the lack of agency for women on this show. #GG writers get it together!

Anyone notice Georgina’s exquisite vocabulary during the episode? Looks like the #GG in her is oozing out… #Cunning or #Counterfeit ?

Knock, knock. Whose interrupting Dair’s not-so-cute married-couple fight? It’s understood that the two may be more than friends, but their conversations throughout the episode were too forced. #FullHouse has retired people.

“I’m not just anyone. I’m her bestfriend.” *Camera falls out* Oh, how quickly the tables can turn. S behind the destructive device that caused the noble nuptuials to nosedive into the deep end? #The[friend]ShipThatKeepsRocking

Does Lily feel the family connection with dear old Lola. #LooksLikeIt

Gossip Girl tipped out the Grimaldis? Or shall we say, Georgina. What is her motive? Because if her motive is to ruin Blair’s marriage, it wouldn’t persay, be hurting B. Where’s the #DivineIntervention now?

Princess or pauper? Blair has a #toughie to make!

Dan wants to be a night in shining armor for just one Upper East Side Queen. Looks like the truth hurts, especially when the look isn’t towards you. #PoorS

Chuck once again is willing to do anything for his one true love. But Blair thinks they won’t be on an equal playing field if he has to buy her love. Understanding, but would she really rather spend a year with someone who is using her than get help from someone who is willing to do anything for her? B fails to see that love is being selfless, and by allowing Chuck to save her she’s paying him back in a way money never could. #ANNOYING #JUSTSTOP #OVERIT #IWILLMARRYCHUCK

It’s apparent that Dan cares about Blair more than Louis? But just as friends. #NiceObservationSweetheart #WelcometotheFriendZone

Does Lola want to be in Nate’s crazy world? Oh wait, she’s already in it. She was born into it. #BougieBaby

A year of Princess B with Prince Louis? What is this whirlwind wedding turning into? First a swept away miscarriage, and now a forced marriage. I’m not liking the sound of this. #GiveBlairMorePower

According to #GG, Blair’s lucky her prison is a palace. But innocent loneliness in a palace is worse than guilty living in a prison.

Looks like there’s a faux Gossip Girl taking over Manhattan. Georgina, get off your high horse, we all know you’re not good (or bad) enough to be her. #ImposterOnTheRun

But most secrets make excellent blackmail material. Looks like Dan is the clueless culprit of the nasty GG post. #WhoDunIt

Next time on “Crazy, Cupid, Love” Nate throws an infamous party, a Valentine’s Day party for all the cute couples on the show (joke!). Looks like Dan is asked to make his move. The question is whose heart is his arrow piercing? Looks like we have a traditional S vs. B war on the field. Besides being completely chic with her flawless looks, she lives a fast-packed fashion forward life ! She is a finalist in the ASOS Future Stylist Competition, former Teen Vogue intern, fashion blogger and a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She’s 19 years old originally from California but calls New York her new home. Rachel inspires to be a fashion journalist. She’s a hardworking young woman that’s taking the fashion world by storm. I had the pleasure of speaking with her about her accomplishments thus far and her future plans.

What/who are you inspired by?

Fashion-wise I’m very inspired by the virtual aspects. I think bloggers are my go-to source for style and lifestyle inspiration. I think they have the most real take on the trends. And generally speaking, I’m inspired by my parents who were both aspiring actors and are huge supporters of what I’m doing, my incredible and talented boyfriend Bryant Eslava (http://bryanteslava.com/) blank notebooks, my grandma Sharon Schwartzmann (she’s an artist and just an incredible woman) city-dwelling and music.

How did you become involved with Teen Vogue? Are you still an intern?

My friend who was currently interning in the fashion closet told me that they were in need of more interns and she urged me to apply. It was really simple, I just emailed the contact she gave me, scheduled an interview and eventually I was offered a spot in the fashion closet. I plan to return in the summer but I will be in a different department.

How did you get your start or big break into in the fashion industry, especially at such a young age? Many girls would kill to be in your position !

Well it kind of happened accidentally. I have another fashion-crazed friend who told me about a blogger/journalism event happening at TopShop in Soho, and I actually remember not wanting to go because it was freezing outside! But somehow I mustered up enough energy to brave the cold and found myself entranced by the speakers–Karen Blanchard and Indigo Clarke. They really opened my eyes too blogging, and at that time I had only had my other blog The Style Line (http://thestyleline.tumblr.com/) for a few months so I really looked up to them and valued what they had to say. I spoke with Indigo after the panel had finished and told her I aspired to be a fashion journalist. She was incredibly sweet and she gave me her email and pretty much became my fairy godmother! Thanks to her, my first real writing job was for the Australian brand ksubi. They launched an online publication called Sex & Fashion and that was a lot of fun to write for because as you can tell from the name, there were really no limits in terms of content. However, I think my first really big break was landing a Marketing internship at Rebecca Minkoff my senior year of high school. Looking back on it, I’ve realized that it’s pretty unheard of to start interning at such a young age, especially at a brand that is as prestigious as RM. I learned a lot and gained a lot of credibility and before I knew it I was being presented with projects and opportunities that were far beyond what I had expected.

What are some of your goals, even though you’ve accomplished so many already?

I would love to continue interning at Teen Vogue, attend more NYFW shows, have my writing published in print, grow my blogs/work with some very influential bloggers and brands and I’m currently apart of the ASOS Future Stylist Competition… so a goal is to win! Hah!

I love your blog, what inspired you to start your blog and tumblrs? How do you find the time to keep up with them?

I have two blogs The Style Line and Le Style Child and I don’t really differentiate the two based on their platform. I originally created The Style Line because I knew that I wanted to have a blog but didn’t necessarily want it to be focused on personal style or fashion news, being that there are so many out there already. The Style Line primarily focuses on interviewing individuals on their personal style and profiling young arising talent in the fashion industry. I wanted to use this blog as a way to showcase creative talent and give a voice/outlet to those who may not have the resources to do it themselves. It really only began taking off once it was inducted into Tumblr’s Fashion Spotlight, where the amount of followers increased extremely fast–It now has close to 42k readers. As it became more successful, I was urged by friends to create a personal style blog and I eventually, and that’s how Le Style Child was born. I honestly love running both because they are both entirely different and it’s not a matter of finding time I make time because they are my priorities. Yet with all of my other responsibilities, it gets hard at times.

How do you balance school, blogging, social life and your fashion filled lifestyle?

Everything I do seems to always have a connection to fashion. I’m going to be attending the Fashion Institute of Technology which is a fashion-oriented school, thus I’ll be surrounded by fashion-crazed students like myself. My friends are also into fashion or working in creative industries so it’s a big part of my social life. I think when you’re passionate about something it kind of takes over every aspect of your life, but in a good way… it always makes for good conversation.

How would you describe your personal style?

Ahh, the dreaded question. I ask this to everyone of my interviewees on The Style Line, but when it comes to answering this question myself I actually find it challenging. But I will give the answer I always seem to give: I really don’t think I can describe my style, and I think that’s what I like most about it. It grows and changes just as much as I do as a person. Thanks to my blog it’s really interesting to look back on how it’s evolved over time, and I kind of leave it up to my readers to “label” or get a sense of my personal style for themselves.

What are some of your favorite stores?

For as much as I love scouring Style.com for all of the beautiful collections being put out by top-noch designers I am a college student which makes me a fast-fashion kind of girl. My go to stores include H&M and Zara, but I’m also a vintage lover and find myself rummaging through stores like Salvation Army, Beacon’s Closet and Buffalo Exchange. (Yay for not breaking the bank!)

What advice do you have for those who want to follow in your footsteps?

Well, firstly I don’t want to advise people to follow in my footsteps, what I will say is that while imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery it’s important to remember that we are all individuals with unique voices and point of views. So with that in mind, my first piece of advice for those looking to break into fashion is to be confident in their own individual abilities and talents and try to build on them as much as possible. While it’s okay to be inspired by others, know when to draw the line between inspiration and imitation, build off of those people but just remember you have something special to bring to the table.

For general advice, understand that this industry is competitive and at times unforgiving, but don’t under any circumstances let that hinder your focus and passion for what you want to do. It’s really important to learn how to network and maintain relationships with people because the fashion world is small! But I’ve gotten this question a lot and this what I always really say:

• Be tough

• Be passionate

• Be persistent

• Be confident

• Have an edge or something that sets you a part

• Be creative

• Pick and choose your battles

• Have the ability and accessibility to network and maintain relationships

• Show dedication

• Believe that you are special and important (other people will believe it too) and of course know when to draw the line so you don’t come off as conceited

• Pursue fashion because you love it.

It’s a flourishing and rewarding field to work in, but it’s difficult. You have to be organized and efficient and you have to have a vision and a willingness to work your tail off.

And it’s important to really pay attention to the last bullet I mentioned, because so many people enter into this industry for the wrong reasons or because they believe it’s glamourous. In reality, it can be competitive, unforgiving and cut-throat, but once you’ve proven that you have ability talent, and that you have dedication, your fate is pretty much in your own hands.

What’s one important quote that you live by and why ?

Keep Calm and Carry On–After this poster was revived it pretty much has evolved into a brand. You literally see the posters, journals, bags and all kinds of merchandise everywhere; but despite this I remember the first time I saw it. It was in an art gallery in Chelsea, NY and an artist had reproduced it into a mini poster and I remember grabbing at least four or five to take home. As rewarding as my life is, it’s constantly in a state of chaos which has ultimately made me a stronger person. But for the days where I need to be reminded to just stop and breathe, I look to this quote as a source of inspiration and infinite hope. It’s simple and too the point and that’s what we need sometimes– simplicity. Plus, I have it tattooed on my lower neck, so it’s kind of hard not live by it! ;]

In Week 6 of The Bachelor, the contestants continue to bash Courtney, undoubtedly the villainess of the season. Most girls are more concerned with sending her home without a rose than furthering their relationships with Ben Flajnik, a winemaker from Sonoma. Courtney has adopted the attitude of the front-runner. She believes her relationship with Ben is the strongest, and it very well may be considering her and Ben’s “intimate moment” of skinny-dipping in Puerto Rico last week. Their relationship continues to grow this week as Ben’s group date with the girls turns more into a one-on-one date with Courtney. The two spend the majority of the date, in which the group dresses up with an Embera Tribe, dancing together. This infuriates many of the girls, who, instead of attempting to form their own connections with Ben, criticize Courtney for being “aggressive” and scheme to send her home.

Ben also shares a romantic one-on-one date with Kacie B., unquestionably a viewer favorite. Ben takes the 24 year old from Tennessee to their own private island. She is told to bring three things with her on the date. Her choices—a stuffed monkey, a corkscrew, and a bag of candy—reveal her young age and careless attitude. Kacie, who is the first contestant to have a second one-on-one date with Ben, opens up to him about her eating disorder in high school. This brings the two closer together, forming a bond Courtney and the other girls should definitely be concerned about.

Lastly, Ben takes Rachel and Blakely on the dreaded two-on-one date. In this situation, “there are two girls and one rose—one stays and one goes.” After receiving the date card, Rachel immediately becomes nervous and dreads the date while Blakely is overly confident and excited about it. Maybe that is her downfall. Blakely, although opening up to Ben in a way she claims she never has before, is tragically sent home.

Week 6 wraps up with the dramatic exit of Casey B., who admits to being in love with her ex boyfriend from home after questioned by Chris Harrison, and the dismissal of Jamie in the rose ceremony. As always, week 6 is a very eventful episode—perhaps “the most dramatic in Bachelor history.”

Still have no idea what to wear? Look to one of the most romantic cities on earth for inspiration. No, not Paris. Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Date Outfit: El Rosedal

Ring, Dress, Hat, Shoes, Cardigan, Photo Credit

What could be more romantic than a rose garden in the middle of a city? Bring that romantic spirit with you on your date this February 14th. Start with a flower-print dress, and an oversized black cardigan to keep warm. The Rosedal showcases many different types of roses, and you can mix things up a bit too with a lavender rose cocktail ring. Heeled Mary Janes keep the look classy and sexy, and a white beanie keeps you cozy outside. Of course, in addition to snuggling up to your significant other.

Evening Out: Puente de La Mujer

Dress, Shoes, Jacket, Photo Credit

No hot date this Valentine’s Day? You can still look hot out on the town with your girls. Buenos Aires has the perfect landmark for you to base this weekend’s outfit on – Puente de La Mujer, or the Woman’s Bridge. The bridge is said to depict a couple doing the tango, perhaps the world’s sexiest dance, so slip into your LRD: Little Red Dress. A silver blazer keeps you warm and adds the metallic feel of the Puente. The white mast of the bridge is said to be the man, so try a pair of white heels with a masculine touch; we chose spikes. Now get ready to dance the night away, Buenos Aires-style.

Internship Outfit: El Ateneo

Blouse, Blazer, Belt, Pants, Flats, Bag, Earrings, Photo Credit

El Ateneo used to be a theater, but was then converted into a bookstore. The style lesson you should take from this? Don’t be afraid to do the unexpected, like wearing festive clothes to the office on Valentine’s Day. We gave a romantic white blouse a work-appropriate silhouette with a structured red blazer and a skinny belt cinched around the west. Black pants and black flats provide a neutral base, while the satchel is muted yet in tune with the Ateneo’s color scheme. And don’t forget the books! We love the adorable earrings of a classy lady reading.

What are you wearing for Valentine’s Day? Let us know in the comments!
